Five Bug Languages

Isaiah 30 (The Message)

1-5 “Doom, rebel children!” God’s Decree.
“You make plans, but not mine.
You make deals, but not in my Spirit.
You pile sin on sin,
one sin on top of another,
Going off to Egypt
without so much as asking me,
Running off to Pharaoh for protection,
expecting to hide out in Egypt.
Well, some protection Pharaoh will be!
Some hideout, Egypt!
They look big and important, true,
with officials strategically established in
Zoan in the north and Hanes in the south,
but there’s nothing to them.
Anyone stupid enough to trust them
will end up looking stupid—
All show, no substance,
an embarrassing farce.”

The “Five Bug Language“. The Five Languages that “Bugs” (a nicer way to say what God feels) God

1 – You make plans, but not mine.

We make plans. Do we involve God?

In fact, do we seek His?

Are our plans tangible enough that we don’t need to hear His plans?

2 – You make deals, but not in my Spirit.

We make harsh decisions, based on our human emoticons, human thinking, human skills, human wisdom, etc.. not seeking His council, who is the Counsellor

3 – You pile sin on sin, one sin on top of another,

We know we sin in one area and yet we fall in the same area or, we know we sin in one area yet we do some other sin and pile it up on one another. Sigh..

James 4:17

17Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins.

Already, we don’t come to God when we know we have too.

We don’t seek God when we know we have too. (More sighs… )

4 – Going off to Egypt without so much as asking me,

Venturing into business deals, careers, projects etc without asking God.  Face it, if it’s something that would benefit us, we don’t even have to think twice about venturing.

5 – Running off to Pharaoh for protection,

We run to people, hide behind our “so-called” accomplishments instead of running towards God.

Bottom line is, we left God out of our LIVES and hanged Him for decoration purposes.

God help me to involve you always…

Level of todays word : Too Strong! (Convicted as always)

How To Train Your Dragon Chicken Soup

When I saw the trailer and heard it was out in the cinemas, I wasn’t excited at all. It was because of a phone call from my gf, who by the way wanted to watch and not me.

Well, I am not good at telling Synopsis, so here’s what I copied and pasted. Maybe next time I’ll come up with my own.

Synopsis: From the studio that brought you “Shrek,” “Madagascar” and “Kung Fu Panda” comes “How to Train Your Dragon.” Set in the mythical world of burly Vikings and wild dragons, and based on the book by Cressida Cowell, the action comedy tells the story of Hiccup, a Viking teenager who doesn’t exactly fit in with his tribe’s longstanding tradition of heroic dragon slayers. Hiccup’s world is turned upside down when he encounters a dragon that challenges he and his fellow Vikings to see the world from an entirely different point of view. –© Dreamworks

My verdict of the movie? 7stars out of 5stars. =P

It’s original. No remake of what was before(I think =P). Fun, exciting… I walked out of the movie house like I was a 7 year old.

Definitely a good movie, with a lot of positives for all ages.

Rotten tomatoes – 97% Says it all! Someone mentioned in Rotten Tomatoes that “It is the story and characters that is the draw to me, not the 3D.” – Robin Clifford, Reeling Reviews.

Anyway, enough of promoting and on with the chicken soup.

2 things I got from the movie.

1- You’ll never know a Dragon until you actually know the Dragon.

or

You’ll never know a person until you actually know the person

Appearance can tell u one thing or something but not all things. The same goes with a lot of “surface talks”.

Had this conversation with a girl yesterday and she told me that because she heard somethings about me, she won’t share what she wanted to share at that moment.

When I heard that, I didn’t really care about what the person wanted to share/say but what caught my attention was when she mentioned that she heard from people something about me.

She doesn’t really know me yet =P

For me, I’ve been told, in fact, warned about certain people but until I get to find out, know the person myself, only then I would come to know who he/she really is.

Sometimes by what we see or hear about people, it kinda stops us from actually getting to know a person. I am guilty of this crime. This can be a reason why we don’t even bother to reach out to others.

2- It’s not a matter of strength

The hero in the movie actually reminded me of Leong and at some parts Bernard. Maybe cause of their physique. hehe(peace)

But I so loved the character cause it’s a reflection of who we really are inside no matter how small or big we are on the outside. He exhibited someone who has fear, passionless, man-pleasing, curious, attention seeker, selfish, clumsy, not to mention… ANNOYING! Well, there’s a lot to say but with the few that I said… he believed in something, something that burned so strong in his heart that to most of us, lies buried in our hearts, not alive but dead. And that’s COMPASSION.

Because of his relationship with the dragon(spoiler alert), the inner-man, the person who really is, rose to the occasion not only changing the lives of the people closest to him but also the whole village.

I was reminded about who we are in Christ… when we are weak, we are made strong in Christ (2 Corinthians 12:10)

Well, there’s probably more chicken soup to talk about in this animation movie but these 2 speaks the most.

If what I shared doesn’t make sense at all, go watch the movie! It’s worth the watch =)
